Said my wildlife lecture David Chapman all I could do was simply agree and laugh. I was in such disbelieve because I had never seen one before and to turn around to see one sitting there basically asking for his photograph was incredible. I just simply couldn't get over the size of the creature but then again it does build dams out of trees, so it sort of makes sense!
Photographing Wildlife is hard and that is no lie but then you have days like today when you are just so overwhelmed by the beauty of nature that surrounds you. I spent the day close to one of my favourite animals the Otter, which quite possibly I could do ever day because they are such characters. It was so difficult to fight the urge to not go in the water with them (something I will do someday), another truly wonderful thing I was lucky enough to photograph was the Fox. It was such a stunning animal and it was full of life, as we watched it run around with it's vibrant orange coat. The sky was also filled with the sound of bird calls and the branches filled with colour from Blue tits, Great tits, Tree Sparrows, Bull finches, Goldfinches and the odd group of starlings flying over head but the true icing on the cake was seeing the Greater Spotted woodpecker which landed high up in the trees, just for a few seconds while the sun was beginning to go into golden light before darting off again! I'll keep this blog short and sweet like a harvest mouse and leave you with one of my favourite quotes, you can also find my new work in the wildlife & landscape sections of the site! Any questions please don't be afraid to email me or comment!

to capture some of them can be the most beautiful change." - Florin Schulz
